There is a chain letter that's been going around for at least a month or two
now, concerning one "Anthony Parkin," a youth with leukemia. We have not seen a
complete text of the letter yet, but it's the typical
"youth-with-terrible-disease" chain, and apparently at least some versions say
that you should contact the Mayo Clinic.
Guess what? There ain't no Anthony Parkin, kids!
Also, Mayo Clinic has
nothing
to do with this nuisance-chain.
Further, and this is another big surprise, the e-mail address at the top of
the letter is phony, too.
If you want to help kids with leukemia, please contact http://www.leukemia-lymphoma.org/.
PLEASE! If you've been sent a copy of the "Anthony Parkin" chain
letter, please forward it to us at flyswatter@trinitrotoluene.org
Thank you!
